Title: Raisin Crunchies

Yield: 2 1/2 dozen

1/2cButter (or marg.); softened
1/2cSugar
1 Egg
1tsVanilla extract
1cFlour, all-purpose
1tsBaking powder
1/4tsSalt
1/2cNuts; chopped
1cRaisin bran cereal

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add dry ingredients, nuts, and cereal to creamed mixture, mixing well. Shape dough into balls about 1" in diameter; place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Flatten with fork. Bake at 400 degrees about 10 minutes.
